Love this. The Martian series is one of my favorites from my youth. Dejah Thoris is beauty and strength and this captures that.

A beautiful Princess of Mars! The books were excellent. The movie... not so much.

Barsoom is one of my favorite story settings, and I always pictured the red Martians of Barsoom to have this kind of ornamentation. Wonderful mix of comic and literary Dejah Thoris. Amazing job, Valerie.

Very Nice! having done jewelry in the past I'm marveling at the work in the body jewelry. Each wire is tapered and twisted into a nearly closed S. It looks like work from a blacksmith. Good consistency of style in the design of the bracers, crown, breast cups and pectoral.
Oh, very beautiful woman to put them on.
The short sword is interesting too. The cutlass pattern handle and guard with a straight blade. It definitely follows the description of martian swords in the books.
One last request, any more pictures of this outfit and model? I'm curious to see what the whole outfit looks like.

Whoa, that's pretty awesome. Will take some guts to wear that out in public, but someone must have had you in mind when they made that. Wow.
