Description

Everything is ready. The ingredients are complete and the moon will be rising due north within 5 minutes. Dalia opens the windows of her room and lets out a deep sigh as she let go of her fears and doubt. All that she can think about was how hurt she's been after Justine casually rejects her in front of her friends. She sobs a little after remembering that unfortunate afternoon at the school's basketball court.

She musters her courage to confess her love for Justine only to be rejected and have the whole basketball team laugh at her. Though she knows that Justine is not like his teammates who'll make fun of her, the embarrassment still stings deep. She ran away crying, leaving her friends to chase after her. She felt so ugly and disgusting after what happened when she stumbled upon a store in front of her.

She looks around the place and it seems like it's not far from their school. She enters the shop and was surprised that there's no one at the counter or anyone inside. Her attention was caught by a strange book that magically opened up by itself. She decided to run away when she saw that book has a picture of Justine. She slowly approached the book and words started to appear in its pages.

"When the pain of a broken heart can't be healed, a spell of love is all that you need."

The book showed Dalia what she needs to do to make Justine falls in love with her and only her. She was blinded by her love and sadness that she grabbed the book and run out of the shop without second thoughts. She did her best to complete all of the listed ingredients within a week and now she's just waiting for the sky to literally align in her favor.

Once the alarm on her phone went off, she started to chat the words given to her by the book and think about her dream life where Justine will be her one true love. She wants him to be faithful, loving, and caring to her and that he'll be madly in love with her that he'll be loyal to her until the end of their lives.

The book glows an eerie pink hue as the light of the moon shines down on her. After a few seconds, the light dims as the pink hue starts to dissipate. Dalia looks at the book but it is now empty. She fumbles around her room as she doesn't know if the spell worked or not. She waited for a couple of minutes but nothing happened. She tosses her on her bed as she starts crying about how stupid she was and that magic isn't true. She cries herself to sleep regretting what she did and feeling hopeless that no one's going to love her.

Dalia heard a knocking on the door followed by her mother's voice telling her to get up and be ready for school. She's just said that she'll be skipping school today since she doesn't feel well as she turns to her side. She then felt something breathing heavily on her head so she decided to slowly open her eyes. She was so shocked to see someone was sleeping beside her. She immediately hops out of her bed and was about to charge through the door when she realized that it was Justine who's sleeping with her.

"It worked." She whispers to herself as she found it hard to believe her eyes.

Justine woke up from her hopping off the bed as he rubs his eyes and sit on the bed. He looks at Dalia and immediately his eyes went open wide as well as his mouth. His tongue sticks out as he starts to pant heavily. Dalia felt so happy that she finally have the boy of his dream and he's sitting down on her bed after they spend the night together. She doesn't know what to say so she just waited for Justine to say something.

After an awkward minute of silent staring, Dalia is confused about why Justine is not saying something so she decides to speak up first.

"Uhm, hello Justine! May I ask why are you in my room?" She asks, pretending that she's not the one who caused it.

Dalia waits for Justine to respond but all he did is sit there and continue panting. Dalia clears her throat as she slowly walks to him.

"Uhm, Justine?" She asks when she was glad that Justine finally closes his mouth.

"Ruff!" Justine barked as he opens his mouth and with a smile.

Dalia is stunned by Justine's weird behavior so she sits down on the bed as Justine still stares at her.

"Is something wrong with you, Justine?" She asks with a nervous tone.

"Ruff! Ruff!" Justine responds.

Dalia is getting more confused now so she tries to extend her hand and touch Justine's face. Justine looks at her hand and leans down to lick it repeatedly. Dalia is once again stunned by what is happening when Justine lays on his back with his hands and feet curled up while still panting.

Dalia then extends her hand to touch Justine's abs and decides to rub it. Justine then pants even heavier as his hips sway side to side. She then chuckles annoyingly as she realized that she's not rubbing the abs of a man but petting a belly of a dog.

She jumps off the bed again as the realization hits her which causes Justine to hop off the bed as well and sit in front of her as he still looks into her eyes. She leans down and puts her hand on Justine's head as she starts petting him. Justine's right leg is twitching as he closes his eyes and sticks his tongue out more.
