You don't have to get one.

I'm not overly protective of my species like people sometimes are. I don't claim that this concept is super unique (although I did put a fair amount of effort into their backstory and creation and why they have these items growing on them), and I don't accuse similar ideas of being "copies" or anything remotely of that sort.

I just created a concept to have a little community and to enjoy making designs based around my own little world - not to create profit or trademark an idea and try to prevent others from using it.

Therefore, I see nothing wrong with this concept, and while I accept and understand that you (and many others) may not be a fan of many "original" species, I do feel that your criticism was unwarranted.

i don't plan to.
the backstory and such are creative and unique, but the problem is the designs. like i said, they're very cute, but people make characters like this all the time. which is why i don't understand why it's a closed species. 
the concept and sense of community and everything is completely fine dude, like that's great. although you are creating a profit (which is completely fine btw) and, while maybe not officially trademarking it, say it is a closed species. aka others can't use it without permission. so in a way yes, you are preventing others from using it. 
there's nothing wrong with it despite it being a closed species, but you do you. and if you put it on the internet for everyone to see, it's going to be criticized. there's nothing unwarranted about it.

The bow on their chest is a requirement It has their Wish on it, and that Wish can't be removed.

Oh okay, btw, I'm finishing up Kiana's coloring right now. There wasn't WiFi yesterday so I just lined her and Candie. I'll probably have Candie finished today or tomorrow as well.
