Thank you I will. I used a standard black pen with black sharpie marker on a 11x8 heavy duty paper

Oh, okay. Unfortunately those are not brushes. The Brush Inking Group is only for pieces inked with traditional brushes (i.e. made up of many tiny hairs), not pens, markers, digital brushes, etc. Sorry!
