Description
It flares its tentacles and head fins out and does the cuttlepluff's signature "tusking" display of aggression. The pluff hag may seem surprised, but this could just be her usual intense gaze. Normally a cuttlepluff will flee or try to blend into its surroundings when a hag is sighted, but this one is caught off guard and instinctively moves to guard its precious collection.I'm finally done noodling this 5x7 bit of paper. Taking the time until I really felt satisfied feels so good, but I must say shading that anemone was absolute torture in monotony. lolΒ The point of this was to show interaction with a new hag design using a pose of a cluttlepluff flaring. I plan on doing more of these interaction pieces with pluff hags versus cuttlepluffs, since where you see cuttlepluffs, the hags are never far behind, and their design potential is really out there.

Thanks, my brain melted a little because it was so repetitive after the variety of the rest of the image, but it did bring it all together.
Oh, a hag question! lol No, they don't have nipples like mammals do. Pluff hags aren't known to reproduce (I wrote one rare instance, and that babe was fed on eggs and blended fish eyes and scales, yay!) and are living forms of mud. They take the shape of higher tier predators as they age over the centuries, and most often, their final form has echoes of a mermaid, if not looking very much like one until a mer gets too close.

Iβd say look up my Mermay stuff then. I went into a ton of mudwitch stuff with each of those, even if the drawing itself couldnβt be too focused on.
