Description
A scene from a story based on a drawing that I did for SpiderBat007 ages ago, which winds up serving as a prequel to a story I started in 2017 but never finished and will revisit, continue, rewrite and complete inspired by the movie Pixels.

After being pursued through the multiverse by Darth Vader and a legion of Imperials, Donkey Kong strikes back at his pursuers above a version of New York City, USA, Earth when he hijacks a TIE Fighter and flies into space, blasting the other TIEs and taking down Darth Vader's Star Destroyer without any help. As DK flies off as the ship explodes, Vader flies by in his own ship and contacts DK to compliment him and warn the tie-wearing gorilla they will meet again before flying through a portal while DK takes another that takes him home. But little does Donkey Kong know the ordeal is far from over...

-From the story-

He pulled back, flying as far away as he could just as the ship that had been chasing him for a good while exploded in a ball of flame. DK hooted and flew away victorious, flying towards the portal that had appeared close by, the portal that would take him home.
But just then, another fighter flew past him, one with forked wings. The intercom buzzed to life and DK heard the ominous voice of Darth Vader speak again.
"Donkey Kong..." Vader said, "You may have been a worthy adversary, one who eluded and resisted the will of the Dark Side in the time we have pursued you. I gave you every chance to surrender, but now, seeing the clear outcome of this game, the decision has been made to let you go free... for now. But be warned, we will cross paths again one day..."
DK chuckled.
"Until that day, may the Force be with you, gorilla."
