Description
some concept art for a sci-fi setting I'm working on.The Concordant of Centurion
The Concordant of Centurion encompasses some 150 planetary systems ranging from the Draconis Rift worlds to the Taurian Gulf. The Concordant was established some 700 years after the Exodus and comprises several different species (with humans in the majority) working for common economic and military benefits. While its borders are patrolled by its sizeable Navy and inhabited worlds are garrisoned by the Home Guard, military operations undertaken outside its sphere are the purview of the Centurion Legion. Due to the fact that the Legion does not carry the distinction or prestige of the Navy or Home Guard; it takes in a number of individuals looking to escape their past, start anew or those for whom violence is just a way of life. As a result the reputation of Legionnaires as tough hard-bitten troops is well deserved.
Legionnaires of Centurion β Human
A. This individual is a triarri from the Dalkush Occupation out-fitted in the standard kit of the Legion. Being a new recruit, no additional equipment has been added to what he already has. Note standard equipment such as the LPW-70 grazer carbine, helmet with NBC filtration unit, and the comlink on the backpack.
B. This female legionnaire is a haistii on campaign during the Sullanβtakal Cession. Over an extended period of trench fighting, this experienced trooper has seen fit to acquire additional personal weaponry and made slight modifications to her armored coat.
