Description when you shoot a subject so often ... such is the case with my daughter ... the percentage of shots that you really like ... it goes down.

luckily, my little girl has gotten used to being in front of a camera and letting her personality come out. sure ... there's times when she's like, " enough of that camera."

but ... i was skulking around at her girl scout thingy ... got the angle. she saw me. but didn't give me a weird face ...

it just captured her thoughtful self.

in that ... i know there is a God.

continually amazed at how good this Canon L glass performs. i'm a former nikon-snob that is now eating crow. a whole murder of crows. but ... i'm smiling.

Canon 1D / 70-200mm 2.8 wide open / 400 iso / 250th of a sec?

Congrats on converting, I'm a Canon freak - my sister has a nikon... Great shot, I think when such an awesome portrait shot like this is captured it makes it all worthwhile. How does she feel with all these people leaving lovely comments about her and adding her to their favourites?? Great work!

I always seem to have so much fun looking at your gallery - there's a great mix here to look at! Keep up the great work!

Not much to say that hasn't been said, but... I have to mention how much I love this type of shot.

Yes, bad-ass. One of these days I'm going to buy my own 70-200 F/2.8 is. That lens is one bad-ass motherfucker.

honeslty, i'm an equipment-friggin'-snob. ONE OF THE BEST LENSES THAT I'VE EVER OWNED. i thought nothing could beat my 80-200 nikon two-eight glass.

i was wrong. not to mention the image stabilization. it works. it works WELL.

this lens rocks.

hope you get one soon. you'll love it.

Even if she did see you, she isn't looking at the camera.

Unless you had said it, i would not have realized she even saw the camera and would have thought you caught her off guard.

my little girl's used to me skulking about with a camera. she's beginning to be cognizant of what's good in a photo.

thanks for the comment!

hope you're well!

I just love your work! Not in a blind way................it just impresses me that you can come up with something new constantly!

I understand totally what you mean regards shots of family! I unfortunately cannot submit shots of my little un' any longer as my ex-partner was none to impressed with her image being on the net.............such is life. Gotta respect her wishes at the end of the day.

Great shot mate!

looks like you also found a good hobby to keep you busy in situations like this, I remember when I was younger I'd bring my dad along to these girl scout sorts of things and he'd always be miserable
