I really wanted to see you carry this series on for longer Gabe. Really lovely work espacially on the background/scenary its very atmospheric and pulls you into the drawing. Awesome work on the monster and I highly doubt that the Boy Scout's little daggers will do much here

This is simply a wonderful piece! It just oozes with eeriness and has some nice little stylistic flourishes to boot. (ie falling leaves, swirls on the monster's "brain")
And the monster itself has a Mother Brain (Super Metroid era) vibe to it too. ( ^ u ^ )

Brilliant stuff man. I love all the Lookouts stuff, even started working on a fan piece but never got round to finishing it.

like fog texture, creates a nice contrast against the kids. The red ties the whole pice together to good and drawing your eye around the pice.
Dont know if it was your intent but the mushrooms around the tree look like hands pulling the giant monster mushroom through the trees add menace to the art.

Are we going to be seeing more "Lookouts" stuff in the near future? That was easily my favorite of all of yours and Jerry's side projects, and I think a lot of people are looking forward to more.
