The world needs a Lookouts video game. The idea of getting fantasy based scout badges in game form, delights me greatly.

Is that fungus growing on both sides of the tree? Looks like a funky snow-moss.

I like how they seem not as scared as you'd expect them to be while confronting a giant brain thing like that. They're put-off at most, sort of like how one would react to there being no more bread to make toast in the morning.

As always I really like your use of texture. The little details in the debris and shadows really make give the viewer a sense of presence.

Okay, I've watched you paint on ustream, I know this is digital painting. But damn, man, you've got a fantastic grip on texture. This looks almost like it was colored with copic markers. I really like the way you used a bunch of different brush styles to build up the fog in the background.
Somebody maybe needs to add bigger swords to the Lookouts equipment roster. Or, y'know, rayguns or something.
