Galaxy Ranger Niko with Cybersteed Mel. I really tried to incorporate as many memorable design elements from the original uniform while adding my own style and fun in this redesign. But I did end up thinking this outfit may be showing too much skin for a law officer of the wild frontier (in space)...Took almost 2 years since I did the rough pencil sketch for this piece. Drifted away and back while working on it... Glad it's finally done!

I hadn't seen the Galaxy Rangers since I was about 8, but recently have been catching up on all my old favourites on Youtube; Mighty Orbots, Fish Police, TaleSpin..

i read that you are a professional artist, and that you develop your own comic books, might there be a version of the GALAXY RANGERS you are working on?
just 1 comment about this niko pic, which is just great by the way, if you look at the show, from time to time, niko seems to have, at least, double D breasts, here she seems to be barely a c , yeah I know, every body is a criti, it is just a note, I can live with what you have here, OH BOY CAN I ...WOW.

LOL Thanks! I've been a professional comic book artist for the past 20 years, So I've gotta have some artistic chops to stay in business!
The reason you don't see me much at HF is due to 2 reasons... (1) I own an anime shop now so the day to day operations keeps me real busy. (2) During any spare time I have, I am developing my own comic books!

Galaxy Ranger was the best Cartoon series in the '80, nowaday I missing such Cartoons with such a high quality of drawing, lightning and story telling.

Like everyone else has said, great work on Niko's redesign and thanks for spreading the love to the Galaxy Rangers as well as the other shows in your gallery. GR is one of my all time faves and doesn't get enough love. Thanks again for your work and remember Rangers are Forever!
