I get why Elmer Fudd is considered the more iconic Bugs Bunny enemy to general pop culture, but in my mind, Yosemite Sam is the best Bugs villain by far. He's truly threatening, but also still dumb enough to where him falling for Bugs' tricks makes sense. Additionally, Sam is in the Herculean position of being able to be just as funny and entertaining as Bugs, but without distracting from him. That's what keeps Pete Puma from being my favorite Bugs villain--he's hilarious, but *so* hilarious that I stop caring about Bugs and just want to watch Pete. Given the options, Sam is the all-timer in my book.
