Description
A duck (Hooded Merganser, KappensΓ€ger in German) for the son of a friend of mine, who likes ducks (he's ten).Charcoal, coloured charcoal and aquarell pencil on coloured Ingres paper.
I'm fairly happy with it, though I could have done better on the reddish-brown feathers on its wings. One roblem was that the aquarell pencils didn't do so well on the paper, another was that I don't have the patience for that kind of work right now. I like the fuzzy look on his white "helmet", though.

How come this drawing has no comments?! I like it very much, you did great work on the colors here and the water reflection looks very nice.
One tip is to use dark blue tones for the distant water in the background.
