Description Greetings Watchers and Visiters

Well then here we have Mika looking suspiciously happy, is that a hint a guilt we see on that face? What has she been upto this time we wonder..

So here we have our 2nd attempt at using water colour pencils, this test was mainly to see if the led pencils (B2, b4,b5, H3 and h4) and we are happy to report the shading didn't bleed beyond the odd place. So we think we have found a new way to colour now. Yay!
(sketch+ add shading+ad water colour pencil+damp brush= eaaah we're actrally happy with the outcome for ones)
And yes it would seem that Mika has a slight gapped tooth (might even be on her original 3D Cgi model we made. Can't remember.)

Stay safe, stay creative and as always, have a wonderful day.

Yup she's definitely after somthing, or trying to cover somthing up, that face is fare too innocent not to be a "I didn't do it, I promise!" or "so I'm can I have my [item] back please?"

Vury Vury suspicious, humm

Thank you for the comment 💙

for some reason my first thought was "where is so-n-so?" / "um... uh... he... he went to the bathroom! he'll be right back!" and then that lead to imagining what sort of predicament the other person is up to while she distracts the whoever lol

Like we've said a few times in note, there's not alot of drawings we do that we are happy with, if we only uploaded the stuff we like there'd be only a handful of uploads,

So as mentioned in the Snowy reply this image was a test, to see how the water colour pencils would react with a LIGHT bace layer of H and B pencils shading. And to my suprise it worked out OK, and I'm rather happy with the outcome.

But it's probably cause Mika is out "baby" and one of the only charectors we created that we 'love' one day one's my laptops fixed I must update/fix her 3d model

We thank you,💙

and as i already said in previous messages/notes about self-esteem and how you feel about your own drawings... *repeats rant* xD

my art self-esteem frequently crashes, usually every 3-4 months or so i think, but i made a rule for myself where i'm not allowed to delete stuff if it has 10 favs or more, because whether i like it or not other people like it and i use that to keep me going ( but of course then you end up with "omg this one doesn't have enough favs/comments so that means it's awful", if you have bad self-esteem/mental problems your brain will find a way, one way or another, to whine and drag you down ). i used to go on angry deleting sprees and wipe out everything in my gallery then later when i recovered emotionally i'd be like "what happened to ___? where's ____? why did i get rid of that???" like for example my very first picture uploaded to dA, that little chibi kaiba picture, i wish it hadn't been deleted to so i could say 'kaiba was my first dA pic, i started with him and i'm still drawing him now" + show how i've improved, but it got tossed during one of those old cleaning sprees.

i don't really go by what turned out the best when it comes up posting things, i go by what i worked hard on. i rarely do scribbles and practice drawings these days, usually the only thing i draw is the comic pages and i'm determined to go forward with that. if one page doesn't turn out so good ( and some didn't ) then i post it anyway and go on. it wastes time to draw it over again. i wanna get this done. my goal is "just make the next one better" and then in the end i can compare and say "see how i improved? look at the difference!"

i think when you do something that you like and are happy with, you should focus on that. when you draw something you don't like, you should study it and figure out why. never use the word "better" use "different." don't say "i want to draw eyes better" ( or whatever ) say "i want to draw eyes different." find pics of a style of eyes that you really like and try to draw the same as them. if it doesn't work out, don't say "i didn't do it good enough" or "theirs is better" say "mine turned out different. what's different about it?" and try to make yours look the same, which means you end up looking for "oh this is too wide" or "oh that's too high" and that's how you learn. different/same is more productive than good/bad.

but anyway enough with the unsolicited advice, sorry.

Sora, you never have to apolagies to use about 'unsolicited advice' as any time we go get it from you, it always some how puts a smile on my face and/or gives us the "oooohhhh" feeling as in "that's a fare better way to view this" weve always said to people in the past, 'never put somone you like so high on a plinthz if you do, you will have crippled your onw development".. Or somthing to like that.. Been years since we were gave out motivational advice.

It's a sad day when you accidently toss out your physical work, you may have an idea how much we would have loved to still have our old school and 1st year college drawings as a means to compair and rememebr.. But very little serviced the rage SHREDDING :/ but now we just cram stuff in a folder.

Buut yeah thank you as always for the advice, unsolicited or not XD

i keep stuff in a folder for a while just in case i need it again, like sometimes a comic page may need to be rescanned or something like that. when i'm done with the project and sure i won't need those pages anymore then i keep the ones i like and toss the rest in the recycle bag.

when the recycle place guy made a big thing out of "shredded paper goes here, unshredded goes there" i got afraid they might shred all the papers themselves so for stuff i don't want people looking at i'm gonna start shredding it at home ...
