Description
Available in my Etsy shop: www.etsy.com/listing/206628449…One of my most popular patch designs executed in various sparkling colours! These don't need much lighting to show off the glitter/like effect. The pink version has an extra dramatic rainbow effect! I'm only offering these as limited pre-mades only, so these won´t be available as made-to-order in my shop. So the patch you see listed is the one you'll receive!
Why aren't these 'made to order'? Thread with glitter or special effects are and will always be harder to embroider than regular thread, because of the thread texture and fragility of it. But my new machine can cope with it a LOT better, as long as I lower the thread tension significantly. Still, it takes more effort to get these done.

How much longer does it take you ((if at all longer)) to do these in the glitter thread compared to the regular thread? I'm pretty sure my machine would scream at me and completely stop working if I tried to use this stuff xD

Probably 7-10 minutes extra since I lower the speed and still have to re-tread the needle once or twice during the process. My old machine couldn't handle these kind of threads at all so I know what you mean XD.

I wish they could make the glittery and "special" threads just as strong as the regular threads. I would probably be using them all the time if they were~

That would save a lot of trouble and waste of thread for sure! And while at it make the thread with the same texture as regular embroidery thread so it doesn't get caught in the machine all the time.

We should totally invent threads like that. We would become billionaires xD
