Description
The very first copy is available for purchase now! Please send me a note if you're interested!
Only 1 available right now! The ones above are one and the same just to clear up misunderstandings! I just used RGB LED lighting.
This cute little tailed fox was printed in PLA plastic with an Ultimaker2 3D printer. This particular unit was a prototype to test out various materials. Therefor I'm selling him for no more than the total costs I invested in it. This model was printed slightly too small so its not suitable to use as tea light decoration. However, it looks very nice on any LED display base as shown in the pictures ^^. So, if you want a cheap unit, this is your chance.Β
Please note that this item is not suitable for outdoor use. The material can't handle hot temperatures so using real tea lights or candles is NOT recommended! Only meant to be used with LED light! The display base shown is not included with the fox. You will receive the exact same unit you see in the pictures
Price: $30 USD Β + shipping SOLD

Do you make these yourself or did you go by a third party? If I bought the info needed and used it on my Da Vinici Jr. 1.0 would I need to know anything extra? (Like what type of filament did you use. How much did you use. Did you use supports and so on)

Hi! Everything about materials, file format and additional info is explained in the PDF included c:Β
I don't have a 3D printer myself so I had the printed by a third party.

Thanks! I'm glad you like them. At the moment I'm looking into alternative ways to 3D print this design for less and improve the over all construction of the model. I will try to offer other colors in th second batch.

Wow...this is cheap. But I own a 3d printer myself and struggle with pricing. Did you do the model of the fox?

I have it - mwahahah. It arrived some days ago.
Yes, you're allowed to hate me for being the first who has ordered x)
I was glad to get it, it's a very nice and unique decoration. Actually it's a gift, but i want to keep it ... xD
I have no RGB LED lightning yet, but i used flashlight and paper to see the result in real xD there it is: Chibi Fox
It looks very nice, but on some spot you can see it shine through the black color. You don't see it on the pictures below and I couldn't catch it by taking a picture with normal light, so its just a little surface blemish. There is a pic in which i used very intense light to make it visible on foto, normally you don't see it that much: Chibi Fox
Another point is that the edge of the gaps are a little bit fringy.
Well, I don't know much about 3D printer and how difficult it is to work with, moreover it's the first version. Despite the flaws I'm happy with it

Glad to hear he arrived ^^
Its a prototype so its not flawless and therefore cheaper than the final units. goiku.deviantart.com/art/3D-prβ¦ Home printers aren't as advanced yet as professional 3D printers that companies use. Printing such small gaps is very difficult because of the thin walls and since non-professional printers use plastic filament/thread as material, you will always have some frayed edges.Β
You can add some touch ups to the fox by adding a layer of average black paint (I used acrylic). It should cover the spots.

I thought so ... it's totally worth the price ^^
Also it's unique and there is much more work in it than industrial products.
And thanks for the hint Β
