So..I tried out this pattern for the first time today. And surprisingly it didn't turn out too bad! If it weren't for some shifting of the fabric on the left side, caused by some hiccups from the machine....Unfortunately, it's some flaws in the pattern that caused these errors so i'll have make some adjustments.
However, this hasn't been a waste of time and thread. It gives me a good indication what needs improvement and what doesn't. And to see what colors look best too. And like I said, it didn't turn out half bad. The embroidery is just not as clean as it should look but the patch is perfectly useable. So if anyone's interested in getting this patch design extra cheap, please send me a note

I didn't realy have Okami in mind when I made this, even though its a very inspirational game. But seeing as I wanted to it look like an an ancient-like image you see on those age old oriental scrolls, i'm not surprised you see similarities c:

Yeah, and it doesn't help that when on spools the thread looks different than when it's actually used. So my swatch chart is sacred to me XD

That too. XD Grey groomy weather and shortening days don't exactly help. I need bright daylight to select the right colours.

Yeah, could've turned out a lot worse. I was able to save the patch when the machine started messing up.
