Sorry for the crappy picture. The battery of my cam gave out so I made a photo with my old phone this evening.I sneak peak of the next fox.
This one will be a basic red fox but just like the fennec he will have some realistic touches. This is also the first plush that will have the new realistic eyes I recently ordered.He should be done tomorrow.

It's looking so lovely! I really love that you've used more realistic eyes (so many fox plushies don't use eyes with vertical pupils, which is what foxes have). I'd love to buy this one, ahhh!

The trick with slit pupils is how to make them look good. I added a little shading around the eyes to make him look less deranged or bug-eyed. These new eyes also have a slightly wider pupil so the plushies with them will still look cute and have a softer look. But indeed, to me round pupils look off on foxes.

I see! Perhaps that's why it's hard to find a fox plush that uses vertical pupils (perhaps people aren't aware that foxes have vertical pupils, since that's not normally a canine trait?). I only have one that does. Of course, I'm not that fussed about it, I love all of my fox plushies regardless (it is a nice touch of realism, though!)
Β Anyway, the eyes look perfect and the plush is looking very cute!!! Can't wait to see it finished!
