Description Well... This took ages O.O But I think I outdone my self with this piece, Ipaid attention to all the little details, from anatomy to tree study. I'm happy with it
Although I still have a long way to go, I feel like my practice is starting to pay off!

Nice job with the environment! My only nitpicks are that their necks seem a bit too long, and the light on the back of the male character's head and waist seem like they should be in shadow rather than highlight. Otherwise, this is very good!

BTW, I don't think I've asked you, what is your character's name? Does he go by cybercortex, Tamir, or something else?

Might be, I'll tell you whats the problam, I foud out that anthro head is a lot smaller than a human head, so I tried my best to fir it into the neck O.O And as for the shadows, I did my research on how tree tops would cast shadows, again, I dont have much experience with it so I did my best, but u might be right I mean, after so MUUUCH time I've been working on this, I just dont have the power to repair it anymore hehe
And my character is atually me, so I guess Tamir is its name
Thank you again for the constructive feedback, I always take your notes Oh and I noticed you changed your icon, its quite neat!

Figuring out how to draw anthro is kind of weird in general. Being imaginary isn't very helpful to anatomy study. Then again, it leaves room for creativity.

The thing I think I've discovered about heads is trying to maintain overall volume. I always try to figure out the head volume before drawing hair and such. If I don't, I end up with squished looking heads that don't have enough room for brain. XD Since most anthro type characters have muzzles, it increases the overall volume like this: sta.sh/0jwmzvtmdyu I used the same head to make both of those, only adding ears and muzzle to the bottom two. So yes, anthro heads need to be a little smaller to keep the overall head volume consistent. This was actually a mistake I used to make. I'd add on a muzzle to a head that was already the right size, but not scale it down.

Also, the thing I mentioned about the lighting isn't that you got the appearance of the lighting wrong. It actually looks really nice! What I meant to point out is that because of the angle the sunlight is coming out from the trees, it shouldn't strike surfaces that are facing away, in this case the back of your head and waist, unless of course the light is going forwards from our perspective a little, but even then its a bit of a stretch.

I'm sure you've found little tips like this during your art studies. I just thought I'd share how I understand them. Props to you though, really. I've never actually done any extensive anatomy/lighting study. I just kinda keep drawing things until I think it looks right.

Thanks, by the way! My icon is from this, if you haven't seen yet: fav.me/d9sijrn

(I'm so sorry for leaving such huge replies, btw. )

I see what you mean, I guess I will have many oppurtunities to improve on the whole head thing hehe
And yeah, Im always glad to hear your opinion on my art, theyre helpful and I can see u always put a lot of thought into em

I knowww, I already saw the picture but didnt have time to comment, cause I'm pretty much flooded with studies lately, so I wanted to come back and comment on it later, its still on my watch list
