I've been playing Ace Combat Infinity lately, and as such I've found myself frequenting the Ace Combat subreddit too. There I saw PAK-FAace1234 posting designs of paint jobs for ace custom planes belonging to Railgun characters. I decided that he shouldn't be the only one doing this planes and girls thing and made something similar, only with Touhou instead of Railgun.The main protagonist gets the first plane, of course. Reimu's ability is the ability to float, but she lives in a world where anyone with basic grasp of magic can do self-levitation, making it a bit redundant. Well, except for the near reality warping bullshit that she can pull, thanks to ZUN being a massive JoJo fan and interpreting his characters' abilities in the same insane way. But I digress. Taking into account Reimu's ability, I thought a STOVL aircraft would suit her, and ended up going for the F-35B.
Reimu Hakurei's custom F-35B is outfitted with a set of sharp-maneuvering QAAMs. (Referencing her homing shots. ) Also, in addition to the F-35's stealthy frame, it is equipped with an ECM system, allowing it to "vanish" from the enemy's sights. (Fantasy Heaven)

Yeah. The portrait not being as good as it could be is mostly due to me not being used to sketching digitally and not having access to a scanner right now. I'll have to practice it. Not that portraits in general aren't something I need to improve on, quite the contrary.
Oh, and I saw that you said you use schematics of the planes to make this stuff elsewhere. Where do you get them? I used one of the renders from the press kit in the Joint Strike Fighter program's website, but I'd like to know if there's a good place to go get tem in general. Especially for the Ace Combat originals, as those should be a bit harder to track down. And considering that the next one is likely to be a Marisa-themed Morgan (because lasers), it'd be good to get something.

He's got some good, detailed top views! As for me, I use random schematics from google images!
