Description
After his battle with dark Spyro, Spyro realized that he was missing something. While his faded light form was able to rival dark Spyro in his pure dark state in power, the cost of not being able to use his other elements inhibited him greatly. Then he remembers something Jak said about turning dark eco into other forms of lesser eco like red and green. Would it be possible to turn light eco and dark eco into the aether? so he began training on how to convert the massive amount of eco inside of him into fuel for his aether element doing so would open a slew of new abilities for him, and maybe he'd finally discover what unique aether power he had considering all purple dragon had a unique aether power only they could use.

Breaking down the dark eco in him was easy, while his neo dark mode boasted incredible offensive power and durability he had no love for it as it made him violent and much more prone to accidentally hurting innocent people, not to mention he looked like a hideous murderous beast rather than a heroic dragon trying to help people. His faded light form already involved him using light eco and aether at their maximum output. The main problem with that form was that not only couldn't he use any other abilities while in that form he temporarily loses his elemental power after turning it off. Aether was the true power of the purple dragon anyway, so why not find a way to tap into it other ways. Though the result was a little more than what he was expecting, by sacrificing his light and dark eco as fuel for his aether he tapped into a power that had lied dormant within him since the day he was born... Luminescent Aether. Spyro had become so one with aether that the symbol of aether itself was now on his body.
