aww this creepy but sad this is just my pov but it looks like she still wants to be a cutie mark crusader but she's cursed and her friends got scared and left but she's still trying so she's holding the cape cause she's still holding onto her memories with her friends but she can't have it anymore cause she's a zombie pony. but that's just my point of view
