biology: duke is an experimental hybrid between two synth technologies, the base tech is from the [redacted] and the android tech from leytan electronics, taking the strengths of both to create a new subspecies, taking the strong sturdy skeletal structure, processing components, and programming and combining it with the systems and power distribution from the units of leytan electronics, such as synthetic muscles capable of growing stronger with regular exercise, a chemical energy conversion system for gaining energy when unable to find a place to charge or a bed, which allows him to not only digest organic food but also the synth's traditional meals, the ability to harden his exterior skin to that of military-grade metals, advanced tactile feedback, and highly elastic "skin" allowing him to stretch much farther than a normal synth.

back story: Duke was born on the ring in my fictional universe when a crew of synths from another star system had discovered our little corner of the galaxy and had landed to explore our world, fully expecting us to react violently when they walked into town they came armed with stun weapons, however as they walked around town the people seem to either ignore them or give a friendly greeting and even ran into the police and asked if they had permits for the weapons they had.
Once they discovered the police officer was an alien synth they became very eager to exchange information, though promptly got arrested when they failed to show permits, thankfully they got let go after mr leytan came by to see these unregistered synths and finds out they are from another star system.
He welcomes them to visit his tower and to see how our synths are made, answering each other's questions and even got to help zenol study their bodies.
They had a blank body for him to open and experiment with and after a while he tried mixing his tech with theirs, and thus duke was born, having borrowed their ship's production system to create him, after many years he grew into a very tall, buff, and friendly synth and was the first interspecies child which was very exciting news for their homeworld. he took up a job as an explorer as his main job and has loved it, getting to visit his second home any time he wished.
He even gave his design plans to the synth counsel to make others like him, and over time he took the time to make some new mods for himself that allowed him to have new abilities and is looking for people willing to help test them out.
