I actually had last Friday night off and was able to watch it. Of course, having missed pretty much all of the series after maybe the second or third one, it made little sense to me.

I'm really happy that I went with the 120GB Classic instead of the shiny iPod Touch when I got it. The Touch has nowhere near the capacity even now after almost 2 years!

It's been all right for the most part. Misbehaved a little the other day and I almost started using rather colorful language in front of my 80 year old mother.
the DVDs are released a bit later here in the States. I do want to pick up the Revistation set that's out.
Also got my mitts on the latest DWM.... Nintendo is releasing games for the Wii and DS! I have a DS and it damn better be released in the US or there's gonna be one seriously pissed off Whovian here!

I don't have the Revisitation stories at all, so I wanna get the set. I did have the Paul McGann movie on video tape (complete with commercials... grrr!) when it was originally aired, but have no clue what's become of it by now.
Issue 427 is the DWM I just picked up. I haven't seen SJA since the first season. SciFi (now SyFy) ran it, but now if it's on at all it's on BBC America, which I don't have on my cable unless I want to spring for digital cable at twice the price of basic. And iTunes has its head up its arse about getting past season 2. I so desperately need to get the Wedding of Sarah Jane from season 3 and the Death of the Doctor from season 4.
Gads... sometimes living in the States really sucks.

She does still tend to introduce me as her "baby daughter"... I'm 45.
I'll be looking for that box set probably in February when I get my tax refund money. (I'll also probably be looking for my iPad about that time, too!)
It does make a difference where I buy my DWMs. Barnes & Noble seems to be almost 2 months behind for some reason. My local comic shop is quicker to get them.

And speaking of DWM, I saw something in the last one I bought that made me go "WANT!!!!!" --- A Doctor Who game for the Nintendo DS!!! The article said it was released on November 12. In Britain, of course. I can't seem to find it anywhere online that it's going to be released here in the States. Arrrgh!
And I do have to try to remember to save some of my tax refund money for plane ticket to Maryland for vacation again.

I have downloaded the three games from the BBC site. Had to pay for them since I'm not in the UK. *sigh* But they've been fun. Supposedly there's a fourth one coming out, but I've not seen anything about it.
I did ask about the DS game at GameStop today and they were aware of it, but can't seem to get it. *growl*
There's probably lots of geeking shops in Maryland, but I tend to end up at the Fair Trade shop or Civil War places... or Boyd's Bear Country. I can really get a bit geeky in there, but in a whole different way! [link] I went there twice last year while I was out there. Got my Civil War bears!!!!
