A smart and witty, but also clumsy and shy, Asian girl who lives on the outskirts of Bellwood with her older sister, Nanami, and her mother (who is currently traveling abroad). Nyancy attends Bellwood High School and doesn't have any friends besides the woodland cats near her mother's house. However, everything changes when she tries to recuse one of the cats from a high tree. She breaks her arm and is rushed to Bellwood hospital, where patients have been mysterious disappearing from recently. While staying overnight there, Nyancy meets Dove, another patient who was also recently brought in. They soon become friends and start looking for clues as to what's happening at Bellwood hospital. The two soon uncover and plot to make more mutants by Dr. Animo and are hunted throughout the halls of the hospital by him and his twisted experiments. Nyancy is captured but, before being turned into a
mindless zombie, Dove, using her powers, manages to save her from Animo.
The next morning, Animo is taken into custody by the police and the two girls return to Nyancy's house. After persuading her sister to let Dove stay with them, Nyancy soon realizes that she might have been accidentally created into metahuman. As after their encounter with Animo she begins to display several catlike traits. Dove promises to help Nyancy through this and together they begin doing several investigations into the strange going ons around Bellwood.
Recently, the pair are investigating claims of a supposed pair of, and I quote, "crazy-ass hillbilly cannibals".
