Curly Is The Self Proclaimed “Master Of Scaremonies” In The “Goosebumps” Franchise And For The While The Original Mascot Before Slappy Took Over. For The Time Curly Was Merely A Halloween Skeleton R.L. Stine Kept For Decoration That He Dressed In A Smoking Robe And Boxer Shorts Along With A Lady Skeleton Which He Called Nightshade Until Slappy Used His Power To Bring Curly To Life And Make Him Real To Demonstrate What He’s Capable Of. For A While Curly Genuinely Seemed To Like Stine As A Friend Before Slappy Would Have Him Be Second Fiddle To Him Promising Him Greater Power Than He Could Imagine. Reluctantly He Would Aid Slappy Following The Latter’s Freedom. Unlike Slappy Though Curly Has More Of A Conscience And Laments Betraying Stine. He Also Has Taken Nightshade In As An Adoptive Sister Of Sorts.
