Impactor was one of many Decepticons imprisoned on the Cybertronian prison ship, The Alchemor, which was hijacked by Vexus's group and sent crashing down to Earth where they run a muck. Impactor was a former Wrecker who turned to the Decepticons when he was mistakenly left for dead during a rough battle on Cybertron which resulted in his left arm being damaged and replaced with a drill hand and holds a grudge on his former Wreckers for abandoning him.
