Description
With Isabelle coming in as the 5th newcomer to Smash Ultimate, I've finally decided to throw my hat into the ring of the bingo sheet. And yes, this is meant to be taken seriously. I'll update the chart with confirmed and deconfirmed characters with my initial thoughts on the subject. Below I'll give my personal reasons and level of hope of why I chose these characters.

Black Knight
I may be getting hate for including a Fire Emblem character, but I think there's room for one more. (It would make an 8 player battle between original Fire Emblem characters possible) Black Knight is easily the best choice, but only if he shows up as an Echo for Ike. Black Knight has always been one of my favorite characters from the Fire Emblem franchise from design alone, but his character and influence through the story was awesome as Ike's mortal rival and quest for revenge. In the games he's always been a shadow to Ike, completely different and yet the same. Hell, the games say that Black Knight fights just like Ike. I feel that in game, Black Knight would be a stronger yet slower Echo Fighter to Ike(Scary thought) and a lot of his animations emphasize on his strength. Instead of his f-smash using two hand to swing his blade (like Ike) he would only use one. Yeah I know Ike still has a palette swap of Black Knight, but if you look at hard enough you can see that it's not a perfect swap, so there's still a chance.

Rex & Elma
Even though I've never played a Xenoblade game I can't ignore the popularity the series has gotten since Shulk joining Smash 4. And I too feel like a newcomer to represent the franchise is needed. Both Rex and Elma have been highly requested and I see no negative to it. I may know nothing about these characters, but their inclusion to Smash just might make me want to buy Xenoblade 2.

Decidueye & Incineroar
Let's face facts, a new pokemon from Sun & Moon is going to join the fight and as of yet, it's a battle between the Grass and Fire starters Decidueye & Incineroar. For what its worth I love both of these pokemon to death. either of their inclusion would bring in a new and uniquely awesome style of fighting. Decidueye could be a ranged attack heavy character with great recovery, while on the other end, Incineroar would a power house, grapple heavy character and he would actually be the first wrestling character in smash. If I was in Sakuri's shoes I'd do something special and iclude both PLUS the water starter Primarina into smash as a new Pokemon Trainer styled character with Hau as the Trainer. But in the end we all know only one is gonna make it in and here's to hoping that Decidueye beats Incineroar.

Ken
I know Ken was "leaked" not too long ago, but I've always had issues with leaks. No matter what, I would always see them as fake. But even then I still know Ken has a very high chance of making it into the game. I my personal opinion, I don't want Ken to show up as Ryu's Echo Fighter. What would be a better choice is Akuma. I mean, just think about it. Akuma is way more popular that Ken, he would bring in a more unique echo fighter, he would be the first third party villain, and we would get the most epic fighting game special (The Raging Demon!) as a final smash. But...... Ken seems to be the front runner of a possible echo fighter. So if it does happen, I won't be too hype about it.

Shadow
I kinda hate the fact that this is possible as I hate Shadow, but he is the best choice as Sonic's Echo. Even though Nintendo could use Metal Sonic or even better Dillon(Trust me, it would work) Shadow being the next echo fighter fits in too well. People have been asking for another Sonic character for so long, and with Knuckles taking place as the new Sonic Assist Trophy, not making Shadow an echo fighter would be stupid.

Impa & Skull Kid
In Smash Ultimate, it's made very clear that Sakuri is giving the fans what they want. More villains, all veterans returning, competitive game play returning, Ridley. He really is bringing it all. And what is the one series that has been dying for a newcomer? THE LEGEND OF ZELDA, THAT'S WHAT!!! People have been trying their hardest to find a newcomer that isn't another Link. With the crazy Skull Kid rumors and theories, you can't deny me the hype that is my favorite villain from my favorite Zelda game. As for Impa, she could also play as the new echo fighter to Sheik. What more could you ask for!

Dry Bowser
Bowser is my favorite character. Give him awesome Echo Fighter. That is all.

Doom Slayer
bUt hE's FRom aN m rATeD gAmE! hE cAn'T joIN sMAsh BroS.!!! SHUT UP!!!!! If Bayonetta and Snake can join Smash(TWICE!) Then the MOTHER FUCKING DOOM SLAYER CAN!!! I LOVE the DOOM franchise, especially after if giant resurrection in 2016. And with this series returning to Nintendo consoles then Doom Slayer can definitely join. We would get an Awesome character, an awesome stage, and tons of awesome songs. But what truly drove me to hellish pits of Hype was Bethesda's answer to being asked about Smash. Isaac
If you know about the Skull Kid Theories, then you probably know that Isaac would be part of those rumors too. Although I never considered Isaac to be a top priority character for smash, I can't ignore the endless request people has made for Isaac. If Skull Kid is to come into Smash, then it isn't that far-fetched to see Isaac close behind. If he does make it in, I'll be happy to play as this forgotten RPG Character.

Crash & Rayman
It may seem strange putting these two together, but their chances are almost too similar. Crash is known to be a strong playstation character, but with his games now coming to Nintendo consoles, those chances just raised up a bit, but even then his legacy as a mascot for one of Nintendo's biggest rivals is making him unlikely. At the same time, Rayman has always been a good friend to the big N, but has recently joined a Smash like game called Brawlhalla. That and there's also the fact that Ubisoft is trying to replace him with those stupid Rabbid things. So, both are highly prayed for, but also has some big hurdles to jump if they want to Smash.

Marshal
Of all the Nintendo franchises that has been getting the Smash love, why is it that one of their most popular, Rhythm Heaven, has gotten none? Seriously! There was that leak for Smash 4 saying the Chorus Kids could be joining, but that went no where. I still think that this franchise needs a rep and Marshal seems like the best choice. On the surface, this seems unlikely as other characters get much higher votes, but Marshal makes too much sense. With his endless appearances in the Rhythm Heaven games, Marshal is pretty much the mascot of the series. With all too lovable appearance, the Smash team could easily give him the Game & Watch treatment and have all of his attacks be references to all the little mini-games of Rhythm Heaven.

Bandana Dee
Of all characters, Bandana Waddle Dee is the most obvious. I don't have to give that long an explanation, but Bandana Dee may easily be cementing himself as the newest Kirby Rep. This is Sakuri's character and he knows how much people want him for Smash. I just know that he'll make it in.

Octolings
Yeah I know they're brand new. Yeah I know Sakuri doesn't like to add very resent characters to Smash. Yeah I know there are other Echo Fighters who are better choices. But I have one fact that counteracts everything to why Octolings have no chance at Smash.

Dixie Kong
With King K. Rool joining smash, I'm set on DK reps for Ultimate, but even then there is the chance for Dixie Kong. People began to worry about her inclusion when the Big Bad Kremling showed up, but that hype was just reignited now that Isabelle joined smash WITHOUT BEING AN ECHO FIGHTER! This just opened up the possibility of her joining in, not as an echo fighter, but a full character. I'm not sure if she'll show up echo or not (or even at all), but I'll gladly take more newcomers.

Spring Man
Having a similar argument to the Octolings, Spring Man joining Smash Ultimate is too good to pass up. Even then there's still rumors about him being DLC, I'll take any chance of him being a playable character. ARMS has become on of my favorite Nintendo games of recent times and Spring Man is just the poster boy to that insane world to Smash. Hell he can also get the Simon treatment and show up with Ribbon Girl as his Echo Fighter. Besides, in the end, bringing in Spring Man would allow future Smash games to have more ARMS characters, particularly my favorite, Dr. Coyle, who would be an awesome villain to play as. I mean it Sakuri! Bring in the mad scientist waifu!

Banjo & Kazooie
Of all the possible characters who could join in Smash Ultimate, Banjo & Kazooie is by far my most hoped for. Phil Spencer is giving Nintendo the privilege to make a life long dream come true. It has been too long since this incredible duo has been on a Nintendo console, and putting them into Smash would be the greatest thing imaginable. to give you an idea of how much I want Banjo & Kazooie to join Smash, I would sacrifice Ridley and K. Rool as being playable characters if it so much as gives them the chance to be in Ultimate.

Medusa
On first hand you might think that Medusa seems like a good choice a character, specially if she was an Echo Fighter. But I don't want her to be Palutena's Echo Fighter. I want her to be her own original character. In my eyes, Medusa is one of Nintendo's classic villains and that she's too good to be an Echo Fighter. A lot of people say she could have the same attacks as Palutena's, but her dark and Chaotic powers are way to cool to simply "just switch the light with darkness". If Medusa joins Smash Bros. I want her to be represented as best as possible!

Shantae
When it came to the possible newcoming thrid party characters, Shovel Knight was one of my top picks. Shovel Knight playable in Smash, it works on so many levels! And then he was announced as an Assist Trophy......
I guess Shantae is second best indie game rep.

Morpho Knight
With all the possible Echo Fighters people are throwing around, Galacta Knight was one of the most popular. But people seemed to miss the painful fact of that painfully detailed palette swap for Meta Knight. It was like looking at an even bigger middle finger for Galacta Knight than Waluigi. But it doesn't mean that the hopes for a Meta Knight Echo are dashed as we have Morpho Knight! People tend to chose Dark Meta Knight for a second pick for Meta Knight's Echo, but really he only works as a skin. Morpho Knight on the other hand is totally different. One of the things that made me love Mopho Knight was that they re-purposed that epic concept art of Meta Knight into a new character. Morpho Knight could add a more dazzling display of attacks compared to Meta Knight by adding butterflies to a lot of his attacks. Plus we would kinda come back full circle.

Geno
In the entirety of Smash history, there has always been three impossible characters. Ridley, King K. Rool, and Geno. And guess what two those impossibles just became possible. I say Sakuri should stop teasing us and just show us Geno to finally create world peace.
