I think they don't disguise as Scouts because, even in disguise, they can't run as fast as a Scout and are therefore easy for a more experienced player to pick out as a Spy.

Right. Reminds me of a story an Engineer friend of mine told me. Failspy tried to double jump right over her sentry. She busted him and BOOM. It sounded hilarious.

As an Engineer I once saw a Spy trying to knife my Mini-Sentry, disguised as Demoman ... with my name.

He didn`t last long, as Mini killed him !

And as for this Scout disguise, I had noticed that Spies tend to disguise as Scous as soon as they se that the enemy Scouts have Baby-Face Blasters

ROFL Really? Why didn't the Spy just sap it? I mean, really? Knifing it?

I can't tell you how many times I've busted enemy spies because I'll see the BLU Medic run across the screen from a distance and then remember that I am the only BLU Medic. Chase after the guy and, sure enough, I see my name over his head. But not for long.

Lucky you, but I`m getting good at it as well, especially when I run the only class (which is usually Medic) and I see Spies disguised as me. And oh man, crit-loving Medic melees as well ! I can kill Scouts in one hit with my pan.

And yet those fail-Spies are just too funny to be ignored xDDD ... and yet I still remember one time when I almost managed to backstab the last member of REDs on Foundry Sudden Death ... as the YER-yielding Spy who survived until the end ... but really failed xDDD mics exploded in laughs after this fail.

Yeah? Wow. I know if I was in that situation as Spy, I'd be dead in an instant. I could survive as a Medic in that situation longer than I would as a Spy. But then... this is why I don't play Spy often. I've got some funny stories of the times I did, though. Actually, most of my funny stories are of me playing as Spy, playing as Engineer, and usually involve the other one of those classes.

Then go ahead and tell those funny stories of yours! *shot* Like I don`t have enough funny stories already with my Engineering career being made hilarious by a reckless caber Demo and some miracles I had done as a Battle Medic. And poor you, I bet you would kill them all as a Spy and not fail like I did most of the time xDDD nevertheless, I heal enemy Spy friends that like to troll the butthurt out of my team LOL!!

Alright, I've got a few.

There was this one time I was playing as Engie, and I kept getting backstabbed by this one Spy while I was carrying a Level 3 sentry. Well, the fourth time I heard him uncloak. I threw down my sentry, whipped out my Frontier Justice and chased that bastard into BLU base and all the way back out, shooting him the whole way because he kept trying to cloak. Finally took him down outside the base. Had no more trouble with this Spy.

Or the one time I was playing CTF at 2fort as a Spy and I had to run for it because the RED Engie busted me in the RED base. He almost had me too. I cloaked behind a box and he stopped right in front of where I was hiding. Even swung his shotgun in my direction like he was going to put a few rounds into that corner. (I'd have done that.) Then he just takes off running in the other direction. Left me in a perfect position to make it into the base, grab the intel, and run like hell. (I didn't make it back to my base, though; got plastered by a Demo.)

Or the funniest story is when the ENTIRE RED TEAM decided to play Medic, so I switched to Spy, disguised myself as a RED Medic and started backstabbing them all. This worked for about three minutes, until I heard, "That Medic is a Spy!" I was like "lolnope." and switched back to Medic. God, that was funny.

LOL! I guess that Spy got a bit too much reckless at the end, eh? Serves him right xDD and reminds me of one fail Spy that tried to kill me using my own Sentry (because he had the Sapper out), but I was so confused that I moved out of its way and my Sentry just destroyed him. xDD

Now that is sweet, lol mind games. And always those Demomen! xDD Drunkards ...

Yeah. I was like "Oh, thank God he ran off in the other direction" because I really did not want to go all the way back to Respawn when I was so close. Even though, yep, because of one Demo, I had to do just that.

I love pulling tricks like that. And I could point out that while Medic is German, he's not actually Bavarian, but I won't. (he's actually from Baden-Württemberg, one state to the West)
