Lightning is a character that I admire a lot, probably one of the only ones. I really appreciate her appearance, style and determination, and a lot of people around me tell me that I look like her. I did my best to look like her, whether makeup, poses... I really hope you enjoy the photo and overall rendering.Photography from Julien Rico during Japan Expo Paris 2013.

I think Lightning has become like some kind of role model to follow for many female players. She has a lot of admiration from girls and young ladies. She's one of my favorite females beside Rinoa and Yuna. Awesome cosplay by the way. You did a good job

As you said taste, but I don't think she's like a shitty female. Like, characters like Cloud, Zidane or Vaan are not from my interest despite some of them are popular or really shitty. Anyway, like some people I like Lightning as a great female in the franchise

See, you're wrong to bring up Zidane or Vaan, since I never even hear people talk about them, let alone mention things about their characters.Β See, Cloud you can bring up, but yeah, not a good example since he's a pretty lame character too.Β He's a silent protagonist who is mainly popular for either 1. Being "sexy" or 2. Being "dark".
I like Boba Fett, but I never went around and claimed "Oh, Boba Fett is the best character in the original trilogy" since that'd be stupid, since he wasn't a character to the extend of most of the other people, he was a guy who looked pretty cool but didn't really have a "character".
Your wording in the last bit makes more sense.Β She probably IS a great female.... in the franchise.Β A franchise of monumentally boring or crap female characters.
Hell, could even be the best main character in the whole franchise (hence why they are milking this weird fanservice cash cow for as much as they can)... but that's not saying much.Β Outta the "well known" main characters, we've already covered most of them in the above section.Β That really just leaves Squall and Tidus.Β Squall, a rip off of Cloud that went even more emo and boring.Β And Tidus.Β I don't think anyone REALLY needs to say anything that hasn't already been said about one of the least popular video game characters even shat out.
