Description Ugh, Fallout 3 knows how to chew up a lot of your time...

I played through the game on Very Hard and being Very Good.

Overall, the game seems a bit glitchy, but I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a game that'll take you a month or so to fully get through...

And Fallout 3 ESPECIALLY knows how to keep you up until 4 in the morning.

And aye, while the main quest, just playing through it, is quite quick, all the exploring, all the awesome little raider posts chock full of ammo, all that good stuff will take up a large amount of time. @_@ Took my brother in law 93/94 hours play time to beat the main quest. @_@

And aye, GOTY edition REALLY stalls... a lot.

XD Poor Protectron tho. Reminds me of Deputy Weld after you blow up Megaton *altho I've never done this, my sister has XD*

fav'd

Haw haw, I know whatcha mean, good sir.

Like the use of the Protectron's head as the...um...sledge part of the mutant's weapon. XD It is to laugh.

Ive been addicted to Fallout 3 recently and still have barely done anything in the main quest!

I like this picture a lot like the little details like the washington monuement with the GNR satelite and the Protectron head with the typical computer text.

Hey, I'm playing on very hard and as a very good character, too!!

Anyway yeah, Fallout 3 is really glitchy, the graphics are just so-and-so, and some of the script writing is just bad.

But it has the advantage of being a lengthy game with a compelling atmosphere, in a period when all videogames are just too short.

The glitches offered bother funny moments and frustrating ones. I would comment how it had crash problems on my PC, but that seems to be a risk with ANY PC game that isn't made by Valve or Blizzard.

The ending really, REALLY disappointed me, but I enjoyed everything in between.

Ah, everyone says the ending sucked! I haven't seen I yet, about the main quest I've only spoken to dr.Li right now.
The game's glitchy in all of its versions; in my PS3 version sometimes the bodies get stuck in the ground or get swallowed by it. All in all, even though I'm playing it on the PS3 it really feels like I'm playing a pc game.

I also wish there would be plot dialogues with your traveling companions. Like in Neverwinter Nights 2. I was so disappointed to find out that your companions have no personality whatsoever; I mean you can only tell them "follow me" or "use ranged weapons" and such. Aaawwwww.

Yeah, it seems as though game stories are becoming extremely short these days. *sighs* Lamenting aside, this is a pretty nice piece!

I'm curious to see how fast it can be completed in a speed run.

The main quest itself doesn't seem TOO long if you know what to do, but all the exploring and side quests take quite a while.

You can cut a majority of the quests out of the way by walking straight to the Vault with the Tranquility Lane quest, that will bring you STRAIGHT TO YOUR FATHER and continuing from that point in the storyline. So you can knock more than just a couple of hours off the main story line just by running straight there.
