Anyway, super amped for the release of GR2!!! Decided to do a version of the cover art with the GR AU version of Atlas. Gave his GR2 version a little bit of a facelift. Still not quite done cleaning up the design, but good enough for something simple like this.
Took some inspiration from Byzantine and Orthodox Christian art as well as key GR2 art because, first of all, it's Atlas, of course I did; the other reason is there were a lot of influences I can see in the game from the aforementioned art styles, so it was a good excuse. There is also a helmeted version that I will post, but I am not too pleased about it... Still , I did the work so--
I wish I had more time to gush about my ideas on this and GR2 in general, but if you will excuse me, your Archivist here splurged on the Brutal Edition, so she is going to post the less impressive version of this then see if she can pre-install the much awaited game now!
