Description
That feeling when you've been drawing clothed boobs WRONG FOR MORE THAN A YEAR.If you guys haven't seen the journal yet, I announced that I'll be postponing my comic production for November due to thesis. Regardless, artworks may still be posted from time to time, as well as possible sneak peeks for future comics!
Here's just a sketch of a possible re-design on Cybie's jacket, mainly because her old clothes never really talked much about her personality as a character. It's still not the final design, but at least it sorta gives the idea of what kind of kitty she is!

i love them colors! perfect combo IMO.
also, nice boobies!
its so hard to keep track of where they are suppose to be going depending on their circumstances.
and people always take offence if you stare at their boobs too long (or take photos of them lol) so studying them IRL is difficult.
itβs like they have their own book of physics laws.
but this pose actually demonstrates well how the gravity affects them when they have support.
Β i'll just absorb this with my eyes real quick.

Dat final pic tho.
Even with the sense of gravity in-mind, it's still quite a challenge to draw 'em baggies of fatties. Online references do help, as well as some drawing guides other artists put up. Some anatomy tips will help, too, since not all of 'em knockers come in one shape and size. Staring at them in public is a big no-no, so we'd rather stick with other methods.
One of which would be to bring a pair of sunglasses. *Wink wink*Β

i've adopted drawing a center line in the rib cage oval then from that a smaller circle for each of the boobies centered on that line then running a tension line from the center of the clavicles. this gives me a general idea where everything is attached so i can size and position the boobies. <_< this is probably still wrong but itβs not looking too bad. O_o\ the problem is i'm terrible with tutorials. i look at the pictures and go "i can probably figure this out myself" then trudge on with over mathed up lines that i'll never actually use in a regular drawing process.
lol, i'll just have to stare some more desu. O_o\ but i donβt think i own a pair of sunglasses... strange considering i live in one of the sunniest places in the world.

Don't worry, it'll take time before you get to draw them properly. I myself still struggle in doing them properly. Sometimes, plain references are not enough. You'll need to understand at least the general idea of how they act and react. You're actually doing fine with guidelines and stuff. Just keep in mind that they aren't perfect circles. Since they are affected by gravity, they tend to look like round ovals, or if an analogy would help, water balloons.
Also, get 'em sunglasses as soon as possible!

lol, as i'm sure some famous person said: "boobs. in the beginning, everyone sucks at them."
and then they react completely different when they donβt have support, then there is the skin tension to factor in too since that actually changes the shape. but depending on age skin type and hormonal stages all that changes too. so complicated...
wonder if 3D glasses would work lol.

Her clothes change from time to time (takes away the static idea of a character wearing the same kind of clothes everyday). Β Β

Ah yes, female anatomy. Something I fail at, and cheat my way past.
Awesome jacket, really suits her!
Literally.

I got the same feel back in figure drawing class. I struggled a lot on drawing female figures, and even up until now I'm still learning on proportions and anatomy. Β Β
Hahaha, thankies! It really fits well! Β Β
