lucky star is the magic-born child of prince dayglow rose and prince twinklewishes. being an alicorn from the get-go, many people were convinced that it was simply a product of their magical creation. however, as they aged, it became quite clear that their mere existence as a born alicorn reflected their talent, and subsequently what they would become the ruler of; luck and miracles.
they are an energetic yet mild mannered pony who spends most of their time studying spells in the clouds above their castle, but even despite this they are a people pony who loves to interact with others when they venture into town
