It's a pity that Hollywood tries to be realistic 95% of the time with its CGI & clever writing

One of the worse pieces of CGI I ever seen was in the latest Indiana Jones film, I don't mean the stupid truck cartoon stunt, or the Alien but the Scorpion on Mutt Williams, what the hell? 20 years ago they would have just got a Scorpion from a wrangeler with no sting and have it crawl across him, that is sheer lazyness. CGI is great when used correctly T2 and Jurassic Park mixed it well with pratical effects but it's weird the further we've come the faker the effects look in modern films.

I think each nit-pick in Indy 4 by itself wasn't bad it's just them all together that brought it down. Dodjy CGI was a main peeve of mine after promises of old school effects.

Hopefully if I get successful I'll use EVERY technique made famous by legends such as Stan Winston, Rick Baker, Ray Harryhausen etc.....
& ONLY use CGI when it is ABSOLUTELY necessary

Excellent piece! I see it now: explosions, gunfights, lengthy car chases and skimpy-clad broads. May I suggest Raquel Welsh in a pair of 'Daisy Dukes' and a tube top as Clint's love interest? Sorry, am I reading too much into this...? Nice job though.

Seen it opening day. 8/10 solid sequel got the taste of the AvP films out my mouth.
