FINALLY... I finished it!!!
This picture took FOR-E-VAR. Does anyone even remember the sketch from last Fall? I have to say though, I did really enjoy working on this piece. It was a fun challenge
I am glad too to finally have finished another color piece. It's been quite a while since I finished a "complex" picture like this one. Hopefully, it won't be as long til the next! ^_^This was a random character, but I think I need to name him and draw him again. Gryphons are fun ^_^
Special thanks goes to for this picture for the Prismacolor Premier gray markers he gave me for my birthday. I think I used just about all of them in this piece

Wow, I really thought I favorited this back when I watched you. It's definitely one of my favorites of yours. I love the wings and the outfit. You did so well with the coloring! It's a nice mix of colored pencil and marker, and you did a great job. I can't do traditional art at all, so I'm amazed by this piece ^^

My only comments would be that he doesn't look quite centered over his feet. It seems like he's sitting on an imaginary chair, not quite light enough to be held up by the wings.

You are right! No, no one else did mention that. Good eye! I agree, he leans too far forward to have the weight on his feet. Thank you for pointing that out! I'll be sure to look out of that in future pieces

You've polished your details a lot since the last time I saw a work from you. I really like the highlights, especially on all the metal accesories as well as his weapon, and the background coloring, especially the sky, is beautiful. The color scheme worked really well with it.

I have two name suggestions for this guy: those would be Tsubasa which means 'wing' in Japenese and Horus because he was an Egyptian god with a falcon head. But those are only suggestions, none the less.
