Now that winter break is here I can finally do some art! Anyway, Fireheart and Sandstorm (from the Warriors series, of course!) romp through the woods. Original title, eh? Those stripes took a long time to draw XPEDIT: I keep getting comments on this telling me that the cats' colors look incorrect. Please do not tell me this. Its a book, and I can visualize them however I wish. If you don't like the way I perceive them, please just draw them yourself. Any constructive criticism on anatomy, lighting, background, or any other things that could help me improve my art is encouraged.

Looks amazing! As for the stripes...after looking on my books Fireheart seems to have stripes on a lot of the books. So I also believe he has stripes as well. ^^

Awesome drawing!! Love it! <3 One thing though, Firehearts eye looks a little to big, and a little srtange. And their muzzles are tad strange. But other wise everthing is perfect nice job!

Like Hallikat said, the sun coloring would be nice, and your cats a little thinner and leaner, but this is otherwise a very good piece of art. I very much like your views of the cats, I kinda pictured them like that too

If you have the timeyou could add brightening on your pictures, I don't do it, so I think I don't have any right to say this, but I think instead of just shading the characters you could brighten parts where the sun is hitting to make it look realistic.

Good but fireheart is just a plain ginger tom asnd so is sandstorm she's just a plain cat as well with no stripes

The only thing really wrong is how soft they look... a little too big cause they are wild cats right? I'll also agree that they look a little like lions. Nonoffensive by any means! I just want to help...

if people are telling that the colors are off, then their really stupid. In beginning of every book when it lists the characters it says that Firestar is a "flame-colored tom" and Sandstorm is a "pale ginger". Those colors look close enough to how Erin described them to me.
good job and like what X-SavannahPalomino-X said, try making them more cat-like as they're leaning towards "lion" instead. Great job with the background too!

I dont mean to offend here but maybe if you didnt make them so big built. They look a teensy bit like Lionesses, and if you made them thinner .. they would look absoloutely perfect!

Very nice, I love the postions^^ ANd they look so playful...sorry to hear that people say that, I did a picture for crowfeather and Mudclaw and everyone was complaining about mudlclaw, you know I think the same way you do, you know leafpool, everyone says she's a brown tabby, but I always picture her as a gray/silver tabby

Thank you, and thanks for understanding! It bothers me to death. Its a book: anyone can see the characters however they wish. Yes they are described in the book but who cares? If people don't like the way someone draws a character simply don't look at the artwork.
