I noticed this guy sitting like 4 feet to my right when I had walked to the water following another creature.Brown Basilisk or Striped Basilisk (Basiliscus vittatus; in some areas referred to as "common basilisk")

Yeah, I love reptiles lately (probably because they are all over where I live). This was the best picture I got with the head crest.

Ilove members of this family of reptiles. I own two Chinese Water Dragons. Not very bright, but lots of fun.
