Some very colourful merfolk

Species: Merfolk (Mermaid and Merman)

World building lore:
Merfolk are sea dwelling humanoid fish. Merfolk are well known to play tricks on sailors and swimmers but they rarely kill unless you've done something cruel to them. because of their aquatic state they don't interact much with non aquatic races. Merfolk strangely enough like to sunbath and can be kept out of the water for about an hour before they suffocate, they do have lungs and need to surface for air but they aren't mammals they lay eggs like fish.
