As I said, Konata from some Lucky Star video game has the same Japanese voice actor for Tails. Konata just found him by chance and show it to Kagami that she THOUGHT she found a kitsune.
And yes, I know there is no such thing as an 8-year-old kitsune with two tails. He's just a fox with two tails.

I think Tails IS a kitsune. Just because he's 8 doesn't mean he can't be one. Earlier in his conception he was intended to be a Tanuki, but then Mario had that power-up so they went with the OTHER japanese mythological magic animal thing.

Ah, yes. But in the description, I didn't mention he was that mythical kitsune. Because there's no way an 8-year-old kitsune to have additional tails. I was just pointing out what Konata think of Tails.

I know, it was more for the benefit of some of your other commenters who seem to think he is a kitsune, much like Konata. And I wasn't going to post the same link five times to multiple people when I could just post it once.
Sadly Konata there isn't the only one to make the mistake, there're many real Sonic fans who have the misconception. I want to try and dispel it.
