For a while now I've been mulling over the concept of a person who is covered in static, coming out of a tv The Ring style to get you. It represents the numbness that depression gives. For me, it is the main symptom of the mental illness. It takes away the zest of life and makes me not care about my hobbies. It makes all the wonderful vividness of the world a little more gray.

My sister asked me if I was going to hang this somewhere. I said no.On one hand, it was a way for me to stay some new techniques art wise but on the other, this drawing is like a look into my psyche when the irrational, awful depression hits me at full force
It was really therapeutic to color it in tho

Mediums/art materials used- black sharpies (thick and thin), colored sharpies, various art pencils, prismacolor markers, crayons, washi tape, and mod podge to seal it all in
