Description
An attempt to create RPG like - Final Fantasy-ish (FFIX) character with local elements and design.It all started when i browsed over an art-thread friend of mine , I found one of his old sketches very unique [link] and decided to expand the idea into 3D.
To make more interesting, I did some add-on and changes on the character along the process. I used Kingdom Heart color theme and layout as references. Wireframe and shaded mode can be view inthe scrapbook. [link]

Wow before I even read your description the composition made me think Final Fantasy while the color scheme and overall style made me think Kingdom Hearts. Bravo.

ohhh, i thought u'll make a story about malay where was firstly built under PARAMESWARA who came from Palembang (Indonesia). That will be good to acknowledge your past history. So Malay people would not be as arrogant as now.

What I really love is that you created very realistic local influences- I love that the girl has both a bindi and loose-fitted pants, and that the men all have some sort of headdress- the turbam-turned-crown is all sorts of awesome. The details in the cuffs and texture choices are fantastic- as well as the mask hanging off the guardsman's hip. Totally changes how he'd appear with two such different expressions! The colour palette really compliments this, and I love the framing you chose. It really does play as something FFish, yet immediatley exceeds it in a lot of ways by having a sensible cultural value that's immediatley apparent.
Fantastic work, It'd be great to see more in this vein!
