Description
Red-legged Partridge (Alectoris rufa).Introduced to the UK and doing far better here than our indigenous Grey Partridge, although I have been spotting more of the Greys recently.

Thay are not the sharpest tools in the box though,they seem to think they can run faster thay they fly!!...well at least the ones on the BTO reserve do

They are great markings aren't they, the Grey's are pretty dull looking compared to these.
