Recently we started watching My Neighbor Totoro again. I love the movie and all the characters are so adorable, but I then realized that Totoro is actually pretty scary looking at times. Good thing he's such a friendly creature.Related content

Bwaahahaaa!!! I love the expression on Totoro's face in panel 3. I should watch it again soon. It's been years. I have the Japanese DVD so I can watch the Fox version English dub in widescreen. :3

Did you ever see my Spirited Away yonkoma from years ago? They were in one of the issues of tOFU. If not, then I'll see if I can find my copy and scan it for you.

I have the VHS Fox version English dub. I haven't bothered to pick up the Disney version, because I like the Fox dub. I will pick up the movie if it comes out in blu-ray but watch in Japanese.
Thanks! I'm glad you were amused by it and you like the drawings. It's been a LONG time since I drew anything Ghibli-related, and I was kinda surprised that I was able to draw in that style again. Maybe even better than years ago?? XD I thought Mei and Totoro turned out well considering this is the first time I drew Totoro, and this is maybe like the second or third time I drew her?

I'll have to look for the Spirited Away yonkoma... I just looked at the few recent issues that were lying around and it wasn't in those. So it must be from a looong way back!
Your drawings are really inspiring me to draw again too. Once this term is over, I plan to do some too. It's been a long time since I really gave myself a break and did fun stuff with no pressure. Actually, I don't know if I ever did that, heh.

Hahaha, yes, she is very noisy. Then, I discovered that 99% kids are that loud. Too bad we can't just gobble them up to shut them up. XD
