This fractal is different from most other Apophysis fractals. It's meant as a compliment.

This is really fantastic work; most definitely deserving of a DD. (: It almost looks more like 3D than a fractal; quite an amazing thing to achieve.

Is it strange that I see something almost sexual inthis piece, like Georgia O'Keeffe's Black Iris

Congrats on the DD!

My impression was of being on the bottom, looking up, but hey.
Either way, it's like rushing toward something.

I find your point of view really interesting. The title only mentions a direction "to", and `ToAPP said in his comment he was looking down, but in reality people are free to think it's up, down, or in front of them. When I made it I first thought it was "in front", then "down", and now I agree it can be "up"!
Thanks for your interesting and kind comment!

There better be a Dalek at the end of that corridor.
Amazing work; the sense of scale and heft here is almost palpable. This might be the only time I've seen a picture of doors that felt epic.

i like to imagine it as abunch of sliding walls coming apart as i move forward along a perflectly shined, mirrored floor. Or i guess thats the magic of this piece, its soo open to interpretation! love it!
