Once more into the breach, once more into the treacherous waves of the world.
The day was met with a stern gust of wind, a bitter cold whose bite was worse
than a noble guard dog. The wave I face is larger than the last, stronger than
the last, more fearful than the last. Faced with this monster in my path, my choices
were this: Run and cower from this challenge, never facing the fears of my mind
even if it would end in failure, never seeing what my potential could really be.
Or, face this current head on, seeing how far my might can reach, testing my
mantle and proving to no one other than myself that even in failure, I will not
back down and you can not stop me. I weighed both options as this wave stared
me down, roaring in its power. I looked straight up, took in and let out a deep breath
and said in a soft, and calm voice: Do your worst, I am ready..
