Fallen from grace have we, fallen from the heavenly perch that we once enjoyed.

I once enjoyed a life that showed of my beauty for the world, that showed my

finest features to be admired.

But that life ceased as I found myself dwindling down towards the ground, seeing

my home get smaller and smaller from my descent, seeing my life on the plain

below starting to begin.

I sit on the cold wet grass, looking up at my once elevated position, longing for that

prestige again as I am forced to acknowledge the clear fact: "This is my position

now."

I feel cold and alone I lay down on my new place of dwelling, shriveling up from lack

of the food I need to survive.

I look up at the sun, pleading with it to spare me. But the giant in the sky is silent,

my words going unanswered.

With my last breath I turn back to my haven, seeing it one last time as I smile in

confidence, seeing new life sprouting from my home as I say: "Life goes on..."
