I need to get my inspiration back before I work on anything else.... :/
God, I love these games. All of them - AMAZING. I started playing them again yesterday. Dawn of the Dragon was my original inspiration for the book - I wrote an outline shortly after playing during my 7th Grade Standardized Testing. xD
Well... I was originally gonna draw Sparx, but I still suck at that, so... I know this isn't the true DOTD style, but I HATE how they look in the game... So anorexic and deformed O.o

It really depends on the perspective of the viewer and the style of the artist. Most of the dragons I draw are thin, long, and tall. How I draw those dragons is really my kind of style, which evidently carries over to everything else I draw. For example: [link] , [link] , and [link] .

WOW. This is absolutely amazing. How long did it take you to just do the scales, do you think? I bet most of your time was spent on the background, though. How else could it looks so realistic and well-done? The dragons' lines are quite accurate, and with your own style completing the two. Now that I think about it, I guess they were a bit oddly formed in DotD!

Hmm... Spyro's scales probably took about and hour and a half, because they were so small on the head, and Cynder's took about an hour. The background took more like three... pretty much most of the time was spent on it.

and about the "pink" spyro, it's just the bright effect, because when i fixed the luminosity, Spyro went all and really purple, i was like "Yes! finally he's not lavender!"

Yeah, I know he's not pink... It's just kind of funny how the light makes him look that way - the same with Cynder looking purple xD

Still I have been playing the games again and I cannot believe it's four years old now (DotD that is). Still I know I have been writing about the events after DotD, so there must be something that game does to get people to create, draw or write about it... anyway nice work

I like ANB and TEN better was never a fan of DotD yet its ok
But there was a bunch or plot hole and difdent character design
