Description
[ XXIV - No Time ]Edenhar ended his time when he killed himself.
But Ragnir wouldn't accept it and made a pact to bring him back. He gave half of his remaining time to Edenhar so he could live again, half so they would live the same amount of time. He was selfish enough to refuse Edenhar his own right to die and even created a link between them.
Well yeah... Edenhar didn't die from stabbing himself... xD (too easy fff )
The hourglass took me forever..

it's interesting to think that it's selfish to bring someone back, when usually most tend to view suicide as "selfish" act in itself (not everyone! don't stab me for saying that please >.<). i just mean in literature, its either heroic or tragic, sometimes both.
I really love the concept art for this, did you paint this in watercolor? Also, I know this is sort of a difficult question to answer, but, how often have you been painting to achieve your current level of technique?

ooh I didn't think that this point of view was this interesting, but you got a point!
Bringing back someone who doesn't want to live anymore is selfish, because it brings only pain to the one who wanted to end it!
I used watercolor inks! and yeah I can't really tell, I guess I could answer if I looked through my gallery, but that's something you can do too XD In 2011 I was painting a lot, mostly quick drawings every one or two days!

Wow, this is just so stunning! You have so much patience...but it totally pays off, can't believe this! So beautiful yet so sad...I just love how Edenhar looks Have you already come up with all their story info, or do you make it up as you paint each piece?

Thank youu!
No I don't have all the story but some main ideas. Sometimes I think about new informations while I paint/choose the theme, to get inspired, sometimes I choose the theme to write about a part of the story I already have.

Ah, I see! So you're just going to give us bits and pieces of the story with each piece I guess? Eek, can't wait for more And OMG how many million hours did it take you to paint the gorgeous hourglass?!

Wow, that's amazing! You're so productive, don't know how you manage doing amazing works like this and the one in the rain...did that take you only a day too? I could never do that!
Oh, been meaning to ask, did you get inspired for your characters or art style by any manga or artist in particular?

Cynabrum In reply to YumeNouveau [2011-06-21 10:56:49 +0000 UTC]
one or two days, it depends. ^^ I'm trying to do them as quickly as i can because I get easily bored if I spend too much time on a drawing
Humm I can't really say one in particular, I must have been affected by a lot of mangas I've read, I'm a real sponge, even my style is irregular depending on what I've read!

Wow, that is fast. I bet it takes longer to sketch than do the watercolors though...except on the hourglass, eek! And I'm glad you create so much art, I love seeing it!

Sometimes the sketch takes longer, sometimes not, it all depends ^_^
Watercolor needs time to dry and I can't work on it as quickly as I would like to! xD
