What is it that you hold dear? Your dreams, your friends, your family, yourself or your posessions? I guess the book that she's holding can be interpreted in many different ways, depending on what one holds dear.Pencil art again.

It's lovely i-i I love the shading overall, especially on the hair and dress folds, and how some parts are really dark and others are really light. I also dig her bracelets. o_O

As far as art goes I have always been personal to pencil drawings. I find that I can see not only the finished product, but the work and intention as well, all at the same time which one cannot do with most paintings or photomanipulated work. I also appreciate how you have left the drawing open to interpretation, and in fact intend it to be that way, which is something I think more artists in general should try and apply to their work.
